Vietnamese tourism deploys its new logo

At the very end of 2011, the National Tourism Administration (NTA) has released the new logo and slogan of the National Tourism Vietnam - Timeless Charm. The logo is a stylized five petals each wearing a different color, which symbolizes the charm of Vietnamese tourism lotus.

The lotus is much more than the new logo of the national tourism sector, since symbolizes the beauty of man, soul and landscapes of Vietnam. And according to Eastern philosophy, the number five is considered a lucky number which, symbolizing the development and strong vitality. Each color of the petals also evokes the various tourism products and experiences of foreign tourists when visiting Vietnam.

The new logo and slogan result of a long process orchestrated by the TAA. He will have taken two years to get to this result, with the organization of a competition to design the logo and slogan at the national level, various opinion surveys with the public, domestic and foreign experts, professionals (tour operators, hotels, etc..), media and communities ... Before that, the tourism sector has done research, analyzes trends global and national, but also an assessment of the market and an overview of domestic tourism to identify products, major values ​​and experiences brings tourism visitors.
The ANT sent to Culture, Sports and Tourism Departments of provinces and cities, hotels and travel agencies, selected for the national tourism promotion program to use the new logo and slogan guide for the period 2012-2015. This year, the ANT will handle the introduction of big billboards which include the new symbol in the country's most prominent tourist attractions. Namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong and Can Tho. Now the ANT use the new logo in all programs to promote Vietnamese tourism, within the country and abroad.
